My artful journey...My journey started at an early age, pencil crayons, pastels, water colours and a small handful of brushes along with sketch books greeted me on my desk. If I had a bad day at school, finding my "art stuff" in my room eased that negative energy away.
Later, I took oil painting lessons from a local artist - my mind was blown! Being included in her bright cozy studio was humbling, thrilling. My parents being the avid photographers they are, set about exploring the backroads to find those perfect shots. I learned SO MUCH from them. I always knew I needed to live an artful life. Exploring additional mediums has been a bit of brain buster! It's true what they say, learning additional skills further enhance what you've already learned. Life is truly a big learn! My journey continues and I'm going to keep creating authentically Canadian art in my own personal style... Please have a look at my work and enjoy your visit! K If you see artwork that you consider purchasing, please contact me. Prints of all of my work can be made available in a size that suits. Artful Cards are already printed (limited edition) and ready to send out. |
